Russians simply love to line up
those still remember the old soviet era,where ppl line up 4 toilet paper, will definitely see it reminiscence here in post-soviet volgograd.except that,now its worse, ppl r lining up to PAY 4 the toilet paper

Well it is embedded in their culture,line up for the bread or you won't get any! hahah. just kidding!!
i think the problem is ppl don't know how to buy in bulk and save their time lining up to buy say, a can of beer?

aha..russians and their obsession with ques and line ups.
the worst case scenario is at the polyclinics. U have to ask who's the last in queue.
For a country which sent the first guy to space, it makes me wonder why don't they use the electronic ticketing number to take turns.
i wonder why...
